Molly's Kiss
“Troy, Emma, Molly and Abby”, 30”x40”, Oil on Canvas. These two beautiful little girls are the granddaughters of the individual who commissioned the painting. The cat and dog are her beloved pets. I photographed the girls on two separate occasions. Failing to get the perfect pose, I had my client choose the photo of each girl which she loved the most. I put the two poses together and came up with this composition. Having many photos to refer to is helpful when you aren’t painting from life.
